Actor Vidyut Jammwal’s action film ‘Commando 2‘ released worldwide on Friday, March 3rd. The film received mixed reviews from the film critics and audience but praised the Vidyut performance. Despite having no big movie release, Commando 2 gets the average opening at the Indian box office on the first day.
Commando 2 is the sequel to the 2013 super hit film ‘Commando: A One Man Army’ directed by Dilip Ghosh and feature Vidyut Jamwal, Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles. In the sequel, Vidyut Jamwal returns as Captain Karanvir Singh who is on a mission to eradicate black money, which has been siphoned to banks abroad. Directed by Deven Bhojani and bankrolled by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banners, Sunshine Pictures, and Pen Movies. The film also features Adah Sharma, Freddy Daruwala, Thakur Anoop Singh, Satish Kaushik, Esha Gupta, and Adil HussainRangoon movie released in 2200 screens in India and around 300 screens in Overseas countries.which include both multiplexes and single screens. Despite the public holiday on occasion of Maha Shivratri, The film has got the average response and seen occupancy between 10-20% on the First day. As per early trends, Rangoon is likely to collect around Rs 6 crore at the domestic box office on the first day.
